For the start of university term this year, Coca-Cola launched its Campus Cash campaign which has offered students who buy a bottle of coke the chance to win cash every day during the first few weeks of the new term.

The campaign launched last week, running until 11 November, and was developed by Black Coffee Creative. It has asked students to redeem a unique code, which comes with a gamecard on the purchased bottle, online or via text.

Black Coffee created the POS design and the website which includes a feed naming recent winners from across the UK.

Anthony Tobin, business development manager at Coca-Cola Enterprises commented on the campaign: “We all know students are short of cash and with University fees in England and Wales, the pressure on their pocket is now even greater. Our Campus Cash activity will resonate with students through offering them chances to win cash everyday.”

Phil Ward, creative director at Black Coffee states ‘Cash is always a motivating reward. Offering such a rich prize fund of over £30,000 is highly compelling and will drive participation. By bringing gamification to the online aspect of the promotion it will be an entertaining and engaging experience as well as potentially rewarding.’
