With Facebook announcing yesterday that it had reached one billion active users a month, Betapond has discovered that 34 per cent believe that Facebook will be ‘everywhere’ in ten years’ time, while 25 per cent agree that it will be bigger than it is now.

On the other hand, 7 per cent believe that the site will be dead, and 16 per cent believe that it will be overtaken by rivals.

The survey found that status updates and photos were the things most likely to be shared by users, while music and films were the least likely to be shared.
