McCann Birmingham wins global Sunseeker business

Yacht builder Sunseeker has appointed McCann Birmingham as its global communications agency following a five-way pitch.

The win will see McCanns retained for creative, media buying, PR, digital, CRM and strategic planning for the next three years on an international scale.

It has already started working on the account, enlisting Jenson Button for the launch two new luxury motor yachts at last week's Southampton International Boat Show.

Miles Moorehouse, director of marketing and communications at Sunseeker, said: "We’re excited about unveiling our new creative approach to both our customers, and the industry as a whole, over the coming months.”

McCann's associate director Jamie Heath described the win as "a real coup".
