Following on from its successful ‘Story in Every Can’ advertising campaign, John West is inviting consumers into advert star Old Sam’s Cabin in an interactive YouTube video.

In a similar style to Old Spice’s Terry Crews musical muscle machine interactive video, viewers can click on any object in Old Sam’s Cabin to watch Sam “spill the beans on where the many bizarre items in his cabin came from.”

Created by John West’s advertising agency, CBJWT, the items in Old Sam’s Cabin include, a ‘Fortuna Teller’ crystal ball, a television entitled ‘Fame’ which shows the latest John West TV advert, and a ‘one eye on the prize’ cup and ball game.

CBJWT created 30 clickable links within the video using YouTube's annotation technology, the Google team also worked with the agency in producing the film.
