Spotify has announced that its mobile music streaming service has been made available to users in Germany via Deutsche Telekom.
The online music service has been launched to the German market through Deutsche Telekom who offered its first ever mobile phone package including unlimited music streaming with Spotify Premium.
As part of the deal with the German telecoms company, any music which is streamed through Spotify will be exempt from the data volume specified in the Deutsche Telekom tariff.
Spotify’s launch with Deutsche Telekom has marked the latest in a series of high profile telecom partnerships in Europe, which include Telia (Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway), Virgin Media (the UK), Yoigo in Spain, SFR in France and KPN in the Netherlands.
