Rovio Entertainment has promoted the launch of Bad Piggies, its sequel to Angry Birds, in a PR stunt over Battersea Power Station.

Created by Fisher Productions, the display saw a giant King Pig balloon floating above the station over the River Thames last night, with the building’s façade flooded with green light and four projection images.

Laura Bayford, marketing and sales director at Fisher Productions, said: “We are used to transforming the façade of the iconic 1930’s Power Station for a variety of launch parties and PR stunts but this is the first time we have attached a huge balloon to one of the best known landmarks in London.

“Replicating Pink Floyd’s 1977’s Animals album cover art was great fun, the site is very complex to work in, but our technical production team is very experienced at this venue which got us off to a flying start.”

Bad Piggies launched for iOS, Android and Mac yesterday, with versions for Windows Phone, Windows 8 and PC set to follow.
