Landline and broadband supplier TalkTalk has remained the most complained about telecoms provider in the UK, according to results published by regulator OfCom.

TalkTalk has consistently topped the poll since OfCom began releasing figures in 2010.

Now in its sixth quarterly report, customer complaints about TalkTalk services range from line faults to billing and customer services issues.

In terms of landline in Q2 of 2012 TalkTalk received 0.53 complaints per 1000 customers, and TalkTalk were named as the only provider whose complaints levels were above average for landline services. For broadband the provider logged 0.42 complaints per 1000 customers, which again was above the industry average.

In a statement the telecoms provider commented: “We recognise that there is still work to do and we are continually pushing through improvements.

“Technical faults are fixed faster, more support is being offered when customers move house, and our online support system, which now accounts for 70% of customer contacts, is being further enhanced.”
