Southern Comfort has announced the launch of its new through the line campaign, with 60 and 10 second spots set to run through Bauer TV stations until the end of February.
Created by Wieden+Kennedy, the ‘beach’ creative will also be shown in 60, 30 and 10 second television spots across national television from 5 November until 22 December. The creative has previously been available through social media.
Gwen Ridsdale, marketing manager for Southern Comfort UK & Ireland, said: “The new brand positioning is the result of extensive consumer research. Consumers tell us that Southern Comfort is for a more relaxed drinking occasion with friends, alone or with a partner – a time when they can just be themselves.
“We wanted to partner this with our core brand values, where we are comfortable solely being Southern Comfort and want to inspire our consumers to feel the same way – the new creative reflects just that.”
The campaign will be supported by radio ads and digital marketing.
