Earlier today Kieran Allen, a senior account manager at MEC, resigned via an email which accused his manager at the media agency of anti-Semitism, prejudice against the disabled and sexism.

In addition, Allen claims that his senior increased his workload to a point which induced a “mental breakdown.”

In the letter he went on to say: “This is [name removed]’s style of leadership and is gross misconduct on many levels. It is hard to fathom that such a man is responsible for the work wellbeing of over 30 staff.”

The email began trending on Twitter as it was sent around rival agencies and uploaded by @LoadedMagazine.

MEC chief executive Steve Hatch was forced to issue a statement which said: "We are sad that one of our employees has chosen to share their personal views in such a public way and has left the company with such bad feeling. We are taking this issue seriously though given the highly personal nature of the email, we cannot comment further."
