The Lib Dems have issues a series of commemorative mugs complete with an embossed portrait of their leader, Nick Clegg, alongside one of his favoured sayings 'I'm Sorry'.

Coinciding with the release of a charity single, remixing an apology to students over reneging on a promise not to introduce tuition fees before the election, the merchandise is aimed at galvanising support on the back of the viral song.

Unfortunately for Clegg the ditty hasn't lit up the charts, debuting at a disappointing 143.

Clegg's opinion poll ratings have slumped dramatically since joining the coalition government making his new found popularity (on YouTube at least) something of a novelty.
