LBi appoints Roy Capon as CEO of Asia Pacific
Roy Capon, group client managing director for Wunderman/Y&R has been announced as LBi’s chief executive for its Asia Pacific operations.
Capon will oversee offices in Mumbai, Dubai and Sydney, reporting to the LBi group executive board, and will aim to improve consistency within the region.
He will also oversee the launch of the agency in Singapore following its agreed acquisition by Publicis Group last week.
Capon said: “I’m delighted to be joining LBi to help strenghten the agency’s global footprint and bring its unique blend of strategic, creative, media and technical expertise to clients across the Asia Pacific region.”
Ewen Sturgeon, chief executive EMEA of LBi, added: “Asia Pacific is hugely important for LBi and I’m excited that someone of Roy’s calibre is coming on board to ensure that we continue building business value for our clients.”
