Diet Coke is set to unveil its two Jean Paul Gaultier designed cans in ads on ITV2 and Sky Living tonight, before a primetime spot during Saturday night’s X Factor.
The ads will show the new ‘Tattoo’ bottle and ‘Night and Day’ cans, showing off Gaultier’s Breton stripes and lace corset looks.
The ‘Tattoo’ bottle will be available free when consumers purchase two bottles of Diet Coke in Boots stores from 17 October.
Zoe Howorth, market director for Coca-Cola Great Britain, said: “We’re thrilled to be revealing the third bottle in the collection from Creative Director Jean Paul Gaultier, with the launch of ‘Tattoo’ alongside the first ever fashion Diet Coke cans.
"Fashion is an integral part of the brand and the next stage of the campaign further engages our fashion-forward and stylish target audience of young women. Jean Paul Gaultier is a great fit for the Diet Coke brand, helping bring a lighter approach to style and fashion to our audience.”
Marketing for the new designs will also include an advertising campaign throughout Toni & Guy salons, print ads and a Facebook game giving Diet Coke fans the chance to win a Gaultier tote bag.

Meh!
Is that really the absolute best that 'Creative Director' Gaultier can come up with?
Fashion Tattoo cans? Really? You think the great and the good of the fashion world are going to attach some kind of fashion status to that fact that there are some stripes or lace on their Diet Coke can?
Come on!
I'm no fashion expert (as anyone who has seen my dress sense will agree) but surely after 20-odd years in the fashion business and now being made Creative Director of Diet Coke could mean that JPG could come up with something new and fresh and not just peddle the same lay old crap he has done for years.
