To support its new casino offering Betfair has launched a seven-figure marketing campaign which will run until the end of December. The campaign, entitled ‘huge’, represents the brands biggest investment in casino TV to date.
Peter Marcus, Betfair’s UK & Ireland Director said: “The online casino market place is becoming increasingly cluttered and we wanted something to set us apart from the crowd. The big and bold creative makes an immediate impact and is a significant departure from what our competitors are doing.”
The adverts, which feature casino images including giant lemons and cherries falling from the sky, will be rolled out across ESPN, Sky Sports and British Eurosport. The betting firm will also show the ads on terrestrial channels including Channel 4 and Channel 5 in a bid to widen the campaigns appeal.
An integrated marketing campaign will also support the television adverts and includes search marketing, mobile and online displays, and customer communications.
Marcus added: “I’m confident that these adverts can drive new customers to our casino and that our updated product will keep gamers entertained for a long while.”
