Indie band Last Dinosaurs are to perform a gig on the pages of a magazine.

The performance will take place in the October issue of The Fly using the Aurasma Lite augmented reality technology.

Readers who point their smartphones at an ad for the band's new album 'In a Million Years' will see the magazine page fall away to reveal the Australian four-piece playing their single 'Zoom' live.

The idea has been dreamt up to promote the album by Fiction Records and creative agency Superhero.

Fiction product manager Lisa Ward said: "We wanted to engage with core music fans in a surprising and original manner and, by doing so, create a talking point for the album's launch."
