Technology publisher Future has announced that Paul Douglas and Patrick Goss have been promoted to the newly-created roles of global editor-in-chief and editor-in-chief respectively, of TechRadar.

Formerly the head of the Bath-based team, Douglas will now work with international teams to help develop their editorial offerings and work on taking the global TechRadar brand into its next stage of growth.

Goss, who was previously the London-based editor, has been tasked with managing all aspects of TechRadar’s UK editorial operations.

Douglas said: "Following the recent launch of TechRadar in the US I'm delighted to be playing a continued part in TechRadar's international expansion."

Goss added: "The teams in Bath and London are without doubt the most talented people I have ever had the honour to work with, and I am delighted to be continuing our drive for excellence as we build on our status as the UK's most popular technology website."

Nick Merritt, publisher of TechRadar, said of the appointments: “These promotions reflect the superb work both Paul and Patrick have done for TechRadar over the last few years. TechRadar is already one of the world's biggest technology sites and these new roles will help us accelerate even further."
