UK lifestyle TV channel Really launched a spy-vertising campaign in London on Tuesday 17 September, to mark the UK premiere of the new series of CIA drama Covert Affairs.

To drum up awareness of the TV series, the channel sent females ‘spies’ into the capital under the cover of make-up, camouflaged into typical London backdrops, including a fruit and veg stall, a black cab and a London bus. Following 18 hours in make-up with artist Carolyn Roper, these ‘spies’ then jumped out of the seamlessly blended background to shock passersby and tell them about the CIA series.
