Gillette and YouTube have announced that they are to partner on a new video channel to provide premium football content online with Gillette being the main sponsor of football content in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Gillette Football Club is a new YouTube brand channel featuring HD quality video from Spain’s La Liga, Italy’s Series A and the Premier League with content ranging from highlights and statistics to behind the scenes reports and news.
It will also play host to exclusive entertainment programmes produced by production company Big Balls, as well as new functions such as social gaming.
Viewers are able to pre-select the content which is of most interest to them, tailoring the channel to their particular tastes.

The channel has been launched in Beta mode but will be improved in terms of content and functionality over the coming weeks.
