Autumn might be in the air but a fresh batch of hot vacancies show that the jobs market is heating up, here we give our pick of the best.

First up is Strathclyde Fire & Rescue who are seeking a media officer to manage the public profile of one of Scotland’s biggest public sector brands. The successful applicant will be responsible for handling media enquiries and promoting the services work through social media channels.

Lighting manufacturer acdc meanwhile is seeking a marketing assistant to assist in raising awareness of acdc via marketing, online and award entry channels. This will entail slotting into an informal but professional culture in which to develop a career in marketing.

Elsewhere Dinosaur has posted a requirement for a digital and integrated account manager, ideally suited to an individual who loves learning and absorbs information like a sponge. If that sounds like you then give them a bell.

Next up is the Grimsby Institute which is seeking a market research officer to manage and develop the market research and intelligence requirements of the group. Specific duties include monitoring and analysing competitor behaviour and conducting consumer research.

Carat meanwhile is on the hunt for a group search manager to build relationships and assume responsibility for quality of work. The media planning and buying service is also looking for individuals who can devise award-worthy, innovative & insight driven strategies.
