As part of its HELLO NEIGHBOUR initiative, the London office of global advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy (W+K) is collaborating with The Poundshop to help showcase the work of young designers.

HELLO NEIGHBOUR is a W+K initiative housed in the agency's Hanbury Street floor-to-ceiling window space, involving a series of projects which allow the agency to interact with its local community – specifically with creative minds who live or work within 1 mile of the London office.

The Poundshop is a platform for designers to sell designer goods under the strict brief that the products are sold for £1, £5 or £10. The aim is to spread great design to a wider audience by making it accessible through price and engagement.

A series of designers will each showcase one product which will rotate in W+K’s Hanbury Street window throughout the week the project is live.

The collaboration with W+K marks the first time The Poundshop has created a ‘physical’ webshop. A new Poundshop app is being launched to support the project, enabling passers-by to interact with the WK window, learn more about the designers and products featured and purchase goods online.

The window space has been designed by Studio Good One. The bespoke app was developed by VeganTofu, designed by Household and will be available for download from 5pm on 20 September.
