Bristol agency Indicia has retained the direct marketing business for Tourism Ireland for a further three years after winning a competitive pitch.

The appointment extends a relationship that goes back to 2001 when Indicia won an initial three-year contract with the tourism body.

Indicia will continue to handle Tourism Ireland’s entire direct activity in Great Britain, with the brief containing an emphasis on digital services including email, online marketing and social media integration.

The agency will work to develop a direct marketing campaign strategy including planning, creative, execution and analysis across multiple media channels.

Ian Stockley, MD at Indicia, said: “We’ve enjoyed a wonderful relationship with Tourism Ireland for over a decade now and we’re thrilled to be continuing our work with them. Together we’ve created some highly effective, truly standout campaigns."

Indicia's previous work for the tourism board including the 2011 campaign 'Nick & Sam's Ireland Road Trip', which used social media to tell the story of a couple's seven-day car tour of the country.
