Just weeks after appointing its first search and business director, global digital marketing agency 7thingsmedia is continuing its growth with the appointment of Reena Rai as its new client services director.

Rai joins the Farringdon-based agency from her previous role as online marketing manager at multi-channel fashion retailer Phase Eight, where she was responsible for the entire digital strategy, including affiliate marketing, CRM, email, PPC, SEO and social media. Under her stewardship at Phase Eight the company was awarded the Best Retail Advertiser Award at the Performance Marketing Awards in May 2012, up against brands such as Argos, Debenhams and Oasis.

Reporting to 7thingsmedia’s performance director David McDermott, Rai will be responsible for all client activity and the development of the account management team across all digital channels.

Speaking of her appointment, Rai said: “7thingsmedia are an extremely well respected agency with a fantastic client base and I’m thrilled to join their talented and dedicated team. I am looking forward to developing client relationships to help deliver strong integrated, multi-channel solutions for both new and exiting clients.”

Chris Bishop, founder and managing director of 7thingsmedia, said: “We are delighted to welcome Reena to the ever-growing team at 7thingsmedia. Being successful client-side, I am more confident than ever that she has the ability to further improve our client management processes and strengthen our customer and employee relationships.”

7thingsmedia was launched by former head of digital at Hotel Choclat and House of Fraser Chris Bishop in 2009 and the agency manages digital marketing campaigns for clients such as Agent Provocateur, boohoo.com, Liberty of London, UNICEF, USC and Ted Baker from its growing offices in London and New York.
