Epiphany launches new social media and digital PR company Shackleton

Leading search and digital marketing agency Epiphany Group has launched a new social media and digital PR agency called Shackleton.

The announcement of the new wholly owned subsidiary company comes just weeks after Epiphany Group revealed that it is to launch an office in Sydney, to be headed up by Epiphany co-founder Shane Quigley, who is relocating to Australia.

Epiphany’s operations board, which was put together as part of a restructuring in 2011 that saw Rob Shaw take over as CEO and founders Quigley and Rob Skidmore take on executive roles in order to investigate new strategic opportunities for the agency, has taken the decision to launch Shackleton after seeing huge potential in the social media and digital PR agency market in the UK.

Epiphany co-founder Robin Skidmore explains: “Shackleton is a natural next step for the Epiphany Group. Our clients often ask us to support their social media strategies and we wanted to establish a new agency to offer a specific skillset beyond pure search marketing.”

Shackleton will operate from offices in Leeds and London and its first employees will be revealed in the near future.

Epiphany has grown quickly since its inception in 2005, employing 96 in Leeds and London. The agency grew its fees from management revenues by 54% in the last financial year with SEO and PPC campaigns live in over 33 countries, in over 20 languages.
