Elle appoints US creative director Suzanne Sykes to reposition brand in UK

Fashion magazine Elle has announced the appointment Marie Claire US’s creative director, Suzanne Sykes, to lead the creative direction of the Elel brand in Britain.

Sykes joined Marie-Claire in 2007 and oversaw a re-design of the title to reposition it toward core fashion advertising as well as developing brand extensions on tablet, web and creating an app for the magazine and standalone apps for Chanel and L’Oreal Paris.

Outgoing creative director of Elle, Marissa Bourke, has been appointed as creative director for luxury fashion brand Harpers Bazaar.
