A free augmented reality app from Aurasma is set to place technology chiefs such as CEO of Twitter, Dick Costolo, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and Foursquare co-founder Dennis Crowley within the Wall Street Journal’s Tech Cafe at Tech City in London this week.

The app will allow visitors to use their smartphones to see each of the people, which also includes Nokia CEO Stephen Elop, eBay CEO John Donahoe and Yahoo! president and CEO Marissa Mayer, come to life.

The Tech Café will feature a number of events, while also hosting an interactive tech-art exhibition.

Matt Wills, head of innovation for Aurasma, commented: "We are excited to be bringing The Wall Street Journal Tech Cafe to augmented life and demonstrating some of the cool technology coming out of the UK. The Cafe is testament to the great strides the UK tech community is making, something we're proud to be a part of at Aurasma."

The café will be situated at The Book Club on Leonard Street between 12-14 September.
