Tennent's announces senior commercial promotions as John Gilligan named managing director
C&C Groups has made two managerial appointments with John Gilligan becoming managing director at Tennent Caledonian Breweries and Steve Annand now head of on-trade sales at Magners GB.
Gilligan, formerly sales managing director at Tennent’s and Annand, formerly commercial manager director for the lager brand, have been promoted following a period of ‘significant development’ at the company, including the installation of a £4m bottling line at its Wellpark Brewery in Glasgow.
Also promoted will be Jim Young, formerly head of business development at Tennent’s, to sales director.
The Drum also recently reported that with Paul Condron joining from Highland Spring as marketing director, and that Sandra Mitchell will become marketing director at C&C Group.
