A concept to promote Unilever brand Radox on Facebook, The Radettes, a musical string puppet trio, has been developed by WCRS.

The puppets will sing users updates on Facebook through different tracks, and will be used as part of the global repositioning of the Radox brand.

The campaign, which included production by Blinkink, and media planning by Mindshare, went live earlier this week.

Ross Neil, creative director at WCRS said: “The team has really embraced Facebook as a platform to communicate Radox’s positioning “Come to Life”. The work is not just invigorating but genuinely useful in terms of people’s Facebook status updates. Invigorating and useful. Just like Radox.”

Nick Wilcher, marketing manager of Radox, added: “This is a really exciting venture for Radox – it’s not often you get to launch a band! We are keen to engage Radox with more people and share our new ‘Come to Life’ proposition – we believe these innovative and cleverly crafted Facebook viral videos will do this is in a way that encapsulates the brands new positioning.”
