The IPA is to recruit a number of City Heads in order to strengthen its out-of-London team.
From next year, the organisation will aim to put a network of individuals who will aim to create a better sense of community amongst its members in major cities across the UK.
The team will be led by out-of-London chairman Bruce Hutton, spanning Bristol, Manchester and Newcastle, where each appointment will run for two years and act as spokesperson for their area.
Hutton explained: “Our aim is to create a greater sense of community at a city level in the major IPA hubs and, in turn, deliver greater representation, participation and engagement with and by the IPA. There is lots of untapped help and I’d like to help out-of-London agencies access more of it. It’s a really exciting opportunity, and for those individuals it will provide a chance to raise their profiles as well as the issues in their areas. I hope many people will consider putting their name forward."
