One of the UK’s leading marketing bodies, the Association of Business-to-Business Agencies (ABBA), has signed up as a sponsor this year’s MiAwards as the deadline for entry looms later this week.

MiAwards, which is the annual awards scheme for marketing services membership organisation MiNetwork, is now in its fourth year and aims to identify the most effectively run marketing agency businesses in the UK. There are also a raft of marketing strategy categories which enable agencies to also demonstrate how effective they are at getting results for clients.

MiAwards culminates in MiNetwork’s single largest national networking event in Manchester in November, which sees more than 300 agency owners, staff and clients gather for the gala awards dinner, which sees awards such as Digital Agency of the Year, Ad Agency of the Year and Design Consultancy of the year handed out among many other categories.

Last year’s top award, the Grand Prix, was scooped by Midland’s-based agency Freestyle Interactive, which also won three other awards on the night.

The Association of Business to Business Agencies is returning as a sponsor of the awards after supporting the growth of MiAwards for the last two years.

Speaking of their decision to sponsor MiAwards, Olwyn Bloor of ABBA, said: “ABBA's mission is totally dedicated to B2B and for that reason we are delighted to support this year's MiAwards again by sponsoring Best B2B Marketing Strategy/Campaign and B2B agency of the year. B2B marketing has gained increasing recognition over the past years, as marketers have come to appreciate the unique challenges of communicating with a business audience MINetwork and The Drum support us on the mission to raise standards in the fast changing world of B2B.”

The awards are open to MiNetwork members and non-members, however members receive 2 FREE ENTRIES as part of their membership package. To see all the other benefits of membership visit the website.

The official deadline for entry is Friday 7 September, however if you require an extension to this then please contact Kim Baran on 0141 559 6078 or by
