Old Spice has worked with online video player, Vimeo, for the first time to create an interactive advertisement featuring actor and former NFL player, Terry Crews.

The video features Crews as a one-man band playing a variety of instruments including drums, a keyboard and a ‘flame sax’, just by twitching his muscles.

Each time the Old Spice spokesman flexes his muscles one of the instruments is triggered. Once Crews finishes playing viewers can then play his muscular orchestra by using their keyboard, there is also the option for users to record and share their tracks.

Speaking through their online blog, creative advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy, commented: “Never has so much stupidity and technological breakthrough been combined.

“It's the first ever fully interactive and sharable music video/player on Vimeo (or YouTube for that matter).”
