Anna Shackleton has been promoted to head of PR for Golley Slater Central and South West following a re-structure at the agency.

Anna was appointed to PR Director at the company in June last year, operating at a national and network level to deliver campaigns for brands such as The Army, GKN and Alstom.

She also headed the campaign for The Big Lunch, which saw her and her team shortlisted for the CIPR Pride Award.

Describing her promotion, Shackleton commented: “It’s a real honour to be given the opportunity to spearhead one of the brightest creative agencies in the Midlands. Golley Slater is enjoying a real moment in the spotlight thanks to a formidable combination of talented, passionate people and a results-led proposition that stands out in the current marketplace.

“A mixture of prestigious clients, and a focus on fantastic relationships, is sure to stand us in good stead as we embark on an exciting new chapter.”

Chris Lovell, chief executive of Golley Slater Group, also said: “Anna has a very successful track record in the agency and we think her promotion will provide a step-change for the Central and South West regions.”

He continued: “Anna has made a positive contribution over a significant period of change in the agency structure. She has developed lasting relationships with both staff and clients and is valued for her strategic input.”
