Gleneagles Hotel’s website has undergone a complete redesign facilitated by UK-based Sedley Place Digital.

As well as a redesign the Gleneagles Hotel website has also had a software update making the site more compatible for iPhone and iPad users. Managing director of Sedley Place said the project demonstrates “the importance of a brand’s website today vs. five years ago.”

New collateral and printed materials have also been redesigned to reflect the look and feel of the new site. Research for the site included a testing process where users were taken through the old site to try and find a particular piece of information and were videotaped to capture their user patters.

The new site offers better navigation and functionality, new navigational features include drop down menus featuring the hotels offerings from golf and spa to dining and corporate. There are also efficiencies built into the site that make the offers section easier to control and update.
