Performance marketing and technology firm Tradedoubler has won a three-way competitive pitch to manage affiliate activity for mobile phone retailer Three Mobile.

The deal sees Tradedoubler appointed as sole network for Three’s digital marketing agency after working for the operator over the past 16 months.

Matt Bowes, Affiliate Marketing Manager for Three Mobile, said: “We’re here to help people discover all the benefits of the mobile internet. Smartphones already account for just under half of all mobiles in the UK, and our network carries 44 per cent of all mobile internet traffic.

“We want to build on that with a high quality and reliable affiliate network that adds real value to our sales and marketing programme.”

Dan Cohen, market unit leader, UK & Ireland, Tradedoubler, added: “We are immensely proud of our track record in driving revenue growth for both advertisers and their agencies, based on our unrivalled publisher reach, network quality and dedicated agency team.”

Affiliate Window and Commission Junction each missed out in the pitch.
