Bitter brand John Smith’s has completed a comprehensive overhaul of the former Kirklees Stadium, Huddersfield, transforming it into John Smith’s Stadium as part of a five year sponsorship deal.

Home to Huddersfield Town FC and Huddersfield Giants RFC the stadium is a major sporting, leisure and music venue.

The stadium's new brand identity was created by Space who have displayed new signage throughout in addition to new livery as part of a re-branding exercise for all the clubs on and offline marketing.

This gives prominence to the John Smith’s logo and stadium arch which have been combined to bring match days to life in a ‘no nonsense’ fashion.

Karen Crowley, John Smith’s senior brand manager at HEINEKEN said: “The John Smith’s Stadium reflects the brand’s Northern roots and reinforces our commitment to the county where John Smith’s has been brewed in Tadcaster for more than 250 years. The new partnership with KDSL provides an outstanding showcase in a superb setting for John Smith’s and other Heineken beer and cider brands.
