Sky’s NOW TV makes Xbox debut

Sky’s NOW TV instant-access movie service has debuted on Microsoft’s Xbox games console following a roll-out across PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, selected Android smartphones and YouView.

The service offers access to Sky Movies with no contract, set-up fee or installation charge with subscribers able to access programming from the platform of their choosing.

Xbox users will receive 720i resolution streams as well as access to all 11 Sky Movies live channels, Kinect owners will also be able to gesticulate and holler at their tellies to navigate.

Film buffs can choose to view flicks on a subscription basis or stump up a one-off ‘pay & play’ charge to see their chosen flick.

Sky intend to augment the service in the coming months with the introduction of Sky Sports alongside selected shows from Sky , Sky Atlantic, Sky Arts and Sky Living.
