Lighting company acdc unveils rebrand and new site with Studio North

Lighting solutions provider acdc has unveiled its new website, created by Studio North, designed to make the customer process simpler and to put the product range at the heart of all communications.

As well as the site, Studio North handled a complete rebrand, a comprehensive & supporting brand guidelines document and a suite of marketing collateral including product adverts, stationery and tech specs for acdc.

Gareth Frankland, CEO of acdc, said: “We are delighted with the response we’ve received to our new branding and new website. We’ve had an incredible response from our international partners, clients and global distributors alike. All affirming what we internally believed; that acdc has an incredibly bright future.”

The main aim was to promote acdc as more responsive than larger rivals due to its size, making it the best solution.

Nick Wright, director of Studio North, added: “The new acdc brand needed to evoke confidence without being arrogant and proficient without showing off whilst being fun and professional. It also meant understanding its customers’ perspectives and evolving all channels in line with their specific expectations. We also spent a lot of time speaking with clients, suppliers and distributors to ascertain what the industry thought about the company. This exploration allowed us to discover the true perception of acdc so we could re-position it in the right way and with maximum impact.”
