Global Radio Scotland brings in Radio Tay's John Murphy as new sales chief
Global Radio (Scotland) has appointed John Murphy, sales director of Bauer’s Radio Tay to head up its sales team in Glasgow.
With the title, head of field sales, The Drum has learned that Murphy will work alongside Global Radio Scotland’s managing director Paul Cooney in leading the sales team for the broadcaster, which includes Capital Radio.
Murphy has also worked at News International and Trader Media Group in a sales capacity.
He replaces Pamela Richardson, who left to join STV as sales director in March.
