M&S Bank has appointed Edinburgh-based marketing agency, Story, as its lead creative agency. The bank has worked closely with the agency to create its visual and verbal identity, including its ‘New-fashioned Banking’ positioning.

M&S Bank will now implement the positioning across the entire M&S Bank product portfolio, and will be reflected through all communication channels including press, direct mail, online and social media.

Marketing director at M&S Bank, Amanda Newman, commented: “We worked with Story to create the concept for ‘New-fashioned Banking’ which perfectly captures the essence and intention of M&S Bank.”

Dave Mullen, creative director of Story UK, added: “We were delighted to be appointed as M&S Bank’s lead agency, working on one of Britain’s biggest and best loved brands”
