Carat has today announced the appointment of Matthew Knight as strategic technologies director, having previously held the role of creative technology adviser at hypernaked and W&K.

In his new role, which he begins this month, Knight will work for clients such as Diageo and Johnson & Johnson.

Knight said: “Carat’s holistic perspective puts it in a unique position to help its clients do better connected work, with technology increasingly the enabler of those connections. I’ve spent most of my career helping people explore what emerging technologies can do for their business and I’m excited to continue that work within a really switched-on team.”

Matthew Hook, chief strategy officer at Carat, said: “Carat has transformed over the last year and Matthew’s appointment will continue to drive our unique vision for the media business. Convergence and connectedness are now redefining our role in building even better business value for clients, and we are committed to being at the forefront of that change.”
