Scottish Government asks Stripe to handle PR for Greener Scotland cluster

The Scottish Government has announced the appointment of Stripe Communications to handles its Greener Scotland cluster, covering Greener Together, Eat in Season, Food Waste, Home Energy, Active Travel and Fuel Poverty activity.

Stripe will begin with the Eat in Season campaign, where it will promote the benefits of eating in season and increase understanding of what is in season when.

Clare Smith, Scottish Government communications & international marketing manager, said: “The appointment of Stripe to Greener Scotland will support us in delivering an ongoing, targeted consumer PR campaign to help raise awareness and encourage behavioural change, which will ultimately improve the Greener credentials of Scotland as a whole.”

The appointment of Stripe adds to the Early Years, Road Safety, Resilience, Alcohol Behaviour Change and Community Safety campaigns it currently runs for the Scottish Government.

Juliet Simpson, managing director of Stripe Communications, said: “The Greener appointment is a significant win for the agency, signalling our continued focus on strategy and planning, and our ability to drive effective behaviour change PR campaigns. This is an exciting brief that is at the core of the Scottish Government’s purpose and with the potential to change attitudes and behaviour for future generations.”
