Andrew Walmsley, the founder of i-level, has joined mobile marketing agency Fetch Media as non-executive director.

Walmsley will join the agency's leadership team and board weeks after Steve Leach, founder of Bigmouth Media joined as chairman.

Walmsley was co-founder of I-level in 2002 having previously been head of digital media at BBH.

James Connelly, co-founder and managing director at Fetch, said: “To have one digital heavyweight join the team, let alone two is nothing less than fantastic for our business. Walmsley and Leach both founded and grew two of the most respected agencies in the digital industry. To have such successful digital media entrepreneurs working alongside us and advising the business is first class. As Fetch’s growth continues apace both here and abroad, Andrew’s digital expertise and strategic vision will help us achieve our rapidly expanding international ambitions.”

Walmsley said: “Fetch truly is at the forefront of mobile marketing communications and I am delighted to join the board after working with the management team for some time now. It’s an incredibly exciting time to be joining such a vibrant, talented agency, and I look forward to helping them shape the next phase of their development.”
