Infographic: How Twitter was utilised through the London Olympics

Fiasco Design has unveiled an infographic looking at how Twitter was used during the Olympics, finding that over 15 million Olympic themed tweets were sent over the past fortnight.

Ben Steers, managing director at Fiasco Design, said: "We felt that Twitter played a major and decisive role in the London 2012 Olympics and wanted to create an infographic that clearly outlined both the positive and negative uses of the social media network."

The infographic also found that #dangleboris received 2500 mentions on Twitter, while Tom Daley became the most follower athlete.
