PR agency Aberfield Communications is celebrating a trio of wins, after being appointed by York’s Chocolate Story, Happli and Face2Face solicitors.

For new tourist attraction York’s Chocolate Story, Aberfield has been briefed to drive further footfall and increase awareness of it on a national scale.

Juliana Delaney, chief executive of parent company Continuum Group, said: “We’ve had great success since opening our doors this spring and we’re keen to build on this further with the support of a creative PR agency. The team at Aberfield is well equipped to help us spread the story of York’s rich chocolate history and encourage more people to come and see what we’re all about.”

With Happli, the daily deals website from Trinity Mirror, Aberfield has been appointed to create and promote a series of unique daily deals packages that will set it apart from its key competitors.

The agency is also tasked with promoting the first Yorkshire franchise of the Face2Face solicitors network.

Phil Reed, managing director at Aberfield, added: “We’re delighted with our latest wins and proud to have picked up such significant accounts within the first few months of setting up the agency. We’ve put together a series of high profile PR initiatives which will grab the attention of the national media, as well as key regional media within a two-hour drive time of York.

“Our growth is the result of hard work, a unique PR proposition around positive influence, and clients having access to the expertise of a really experienced, senior team. This is what’s helping us to win new business.”
