WPP's JWT set to buy-out remaining shares in Turkish agency Manajans

WPP agency JWT has agreed to acquire further shares in Manajans Thompson Reklam Isleri A S that will see it wholly own the Turkish agency.

JWT previously held a minority stake in Manajans, originally buying shares in 1985.

The agency itself was founded in 1944, based in Istanbul and employing around 70 people, working on accounts for Nokia, Shell and Byer.

The end of 2011 saw Manajans hold gross assets of TL8.6m, with unaudited revenue of TL 8m.
