Cheil Worldwide expands network in China with acquisition of Bravo Asia

Cheil Worldwide has acquired Bravo Asia continuing the agency’s expansion of its network in China. The boutique advertising agency will now join the ranks of the newly formed ‘Cheil China Group’, Cheil’s local network of Chinese partner agencies including Cheil China and OpenTide Greater China.

The Cheil China Group will be headed up by director Aaron Lau, president and CEO of Bravo Asia, who commented: “The Cheil China Group is a perfect match for Bravo Asia. At Bravo Asia, we share Cheil Worldwide’s passion for providing excellent integrated communications services. We are excited to join forces with Cheil’s partner agencies in China to offer greater geographic relevance to our current clients and to prospective clients throughout Asia.”

The news comes just two weeks after Cheil Worldwide announced the acquisition of leading US ad agency, McKinney.
