If picking up your smartphone seems like too much of a hassle then Digital creative agency Work Club could have the solution - the world’s first ‘wearable, shareable, programmable t-shirt’.

Designed for Ballantine’s whisky, in a bid to bolster their ‘Leave An Impression’ brand campaign, tshirtOS will allow the wearer to display programmable messages as well as upload social media status updates, take photos with the world’s smallest built in digital camera, share songs and play music directly from iTunes via a headphone jack.

Currently just a prototype Work Club are hoping to drive down costs by enticing people to purchase the hi-tech garment through a series of promotional videos running from London to Sao Paulo. If enough commit production costs will fall making the t-shirt affordable.

Andy Sandoz, Creative and Innovation Partner, Work Club says: "This thing is awesome. The T-shirt was the status update before the status update existed. This season, we've upgraded it for the digital generation, a new way to express yourself, to leave an impression. Something that the Ballantine's brand is all about."
