Interactive gate entry system to turn Aegis Media’s Regents Place gates into voting system designed by glue Isobar

An interactive gate system to allow employees from Aegis Media’s Regents Place to vote on questions when passing through the NFC gates has been created by glue Isobar.

As each of the employees enter the building, they will be presented with screens featuring questions such as ‘Who will win the 100 metre race today?’ and three options – one for each turnstile. The turnstile they choose to swipe through will correspond to their chosen answer, as the technology enables glue Isobar to instantly collect staff and visitor opinion.

The answers will then be used to create visualisations that chart the consensus of the building.

Penny Herriman, chief executive and glue Isobar, said: “We wanted to create something really innovative around the Olympics. This initiative is another example of how Isobar’s cutting-edge digital thinking is being harnessed to deliver ground breaking concepts.”
