M&C Saatchi is encouraging employees to ‘get ahead of the games’ by using free bikes provided by the agency.

To promote use of the ‘Maurice Bikes’, named after agency co-founder Lord Maurice Saatchi in a nod to ‘Boris Bikes’, posters have been placed across the agency.

The agency has also created a themed app called ‘The Big Commute’, which will collect data on how much energy individual employees burn through walking or running to work, with results appearing on a scoreboard in the office's reception.

Elspeth Lynn, executive creative director, said: "For months we have been encouraging Londoners to 'Get ahead of the games' and this innovative app will help our staff do just that. The app is true to the M&C Saatchi style - brutally simple and a whole lot of fun."

This is similar to a scheme which EHS 4D began in April, in which employees who used the stairs the most in the six-story building were rewarded with prizes.
