glue Isobar appoints AKQA creative development director Rick Williams as CTO

glue Isobar has announced the appointment of Rick Williams, previously creative development director at AKQA, as its chief technology officer; and Mike Mulligan as chief operating officer.

While at AKQA, Williams worked on campaigns such as Fiat Eco-Drive, Heineken Star Player and several Nike projects.

He said: “Working with Penny [Herriman, CEO] and such a passionate team to help drive a wealth of new products, services and creative experiences on behalf of our clients is a really exciting opportunity and one that I’m looking forward to.”

Mulligan joins from Fullsix as chief operating officer across Isobar EMEA, where he emphasised in growth in existing and new geographical regions.

Herriman said: “We are really thrilled to have Rick on board. He is one of the best creative technologists around, having a proven track record in fusing technology with great creative thinking. Mike comes with a wealth of operational experience that will lay the foundations for the agency to deliver bold and impactful output for our clients.”
