Agent Provocateur names Monica Cruz as face of Autumn/Winter 2012 campaign
Luxury lingerie brand Agent Provocateur has appointed Hollywood actress Penelope Cruz’s younger sister Monica as its latest brand ambassador. Handpicked by creative director Sarah Shotton, Cruz follows in the footsteps of Kate Moss, Kylie Minogue and Maggie Gyllenhall by modelling for the brand.
The autumn/winter 2012 campaign entitled “Wilhelmina: Show Your True Self” is inspired by Victorian London and was shot on location at London’s House of Detention – a disused prison in London’s Clerkenwell –by director Tim Pope who has created music videos for the likes of The Cure and Paul Weller.
Cruz has also modelled for High Street fashion chain Mango, in its 2008 campaign alongside older sister, Penelope.
