With three more gold medals for Team GB yesterday in the Olympics, so too does Royal Mail have three new stamps to celebrate the achievements, including Sir Chris Hoy’s Gold medal helping him overtake fellow gold medalist to become Britain’s most successful Olympian.

Royal Mail is printing stamps to commemorate each gold medal won by Team GB within hours of the success, featuring action shots of the athletes on their way to glory.

Today’s three stamps portray Sir Chris Hoy, Jason Kenny and Philip Hindes' win in the Sprint Cycling, Peter Wilson’s gold medal for the Men’s Double Trap Shooting and Tim Baillie and Etienne Stott's victory in the Men’s Canoe Double.

The three victories mean that Team GB has now won five gold medals thus far, with Royal Mail also having printed stamps featuring Bradley Wiggins winning the Men’s Time Trial and Helen Glover and Heather Stanning rowing in the women’s pairs on Wednesday.

The first class stamps each cost 60p.
